R. Peck Construction, Inc. is a Licenced General Contractor located in Wakefield, Quebec. We are a small family-owned business and have been building Custom Homes and Cottages in the Gatineau Valley since 1960. We are proud to represent Guildcrest Homes as their Authorized Builder and Sales Office for the Western Quebec region. Guildcrest Homes is Canada’s leading manufacturer of energy efficient, factory-built homes.
The company was founded by Roy E. Peck in the early 60’s. Roy had an unprecedented reputation in the construction business and is known for his fine precision carpentry and master building skills. Roy operated on the basis of a hand shake and clients would recommend his services because of the quality, work ethic and his commitment to each customer. The company was incorporated in 1980 to meet the criteria for a Licensed General Contractor for the province of Quebec.
Following in his father’s footsteps, eldest son Randy, having worked alongside his father since his early teens, in all facets of the building industry, assumed ownership of the company in 1994. It was at this time that Randy entered into a contractual agreement with Guildcrest Homes. Randy has been operating the business ever since, maintaining the same type of integrity his father had.
Randy is a very good listener and works very well with clients to achieve their overall budget and dreams. Randy brings over 40 years of experience in the home building and project management industry. Randy feels the success of any project is based on three critical things:

Every single detail is taken into consideration. Finishing carpentry is his specialty. He makes good recommendations to clients based on a general sense of vision that comes with that experience from the many homes he has built.
